About Me
My background
I completed my Master’s in Education in 2007 and my Master’s in Counseling in 2023. For the last 16 years, I have worked as a counselor, educator, mentor, and group facilitator always with an emphasis on empowering my clients and helping them build the skills, self-understanding, and resilience they need to thrive. My style is integrative - drawing from many approaches including narrative therapy, IFS, EMDR, mindfulness, and self-compassion practices. At the core of my work is developing strong and trusting relationships with clients to guide the work we do together.
My philosophy
I believe that while having a gender-expansive experience comes with its challenges, it is also something to be embraced, celebrated, and nurtured. As trans folks, we have a unique opportunity to live our lives with deep self-reflection, authenticity, autonomy, and flare. Gender difference and exploration is an invitation to a life-long journey of self-discovery and adventure. It is an honor and joy to support my clients in their process of becoming.
